A Day in Berlin

For those of you who follow me on twitter youll know that today I went shopping in Berlin, followed by dinner with friends, well thats exactly what I did. Berlin at the moment is freezing, sometimes reaching teperatures of -6/-7 with strong winds that feel like they are cutting through you but we managed to make it to our favourite very nice and warm restaurant for some breakfast.

After breakfast we headed for a large shopping complex in the centre of town for some hardcore retail therapy. Do you ever have those days you really want to get something but you never do, you always seem to find the best stuff when you never expect it. Although walking away empty handed after a few hours walking like zombies around this shopping centre we headed for dinner with friends. My stomach was still heavy from breakfast, we had burgers, crazy breakfast huh. We went to an Indian restaurant for some grub and my friend norm wanted to try his best to get the waiter to smile, which he never achieved, this guy was broody. The dinner was great, we chatted for hours until we realised we had gone to far so we rushed for the train home. Tomorrow is new years eve, am i looking forward to it? am i heck!!!
